Digital HeatFX i550 Training
Welcome to the Digital HeatFX i550 “From Transfer to T-Shirt” Training Course.
This training course will guide you step-by-step on how to use your new Digital HeatFX i550 printer for the first time. It is designed to be self-paced with no time limit, but we encourage you to complete the entire training course so you can begin printing successfully.
If you haven’t done so already, please visit this page before you begin your training to view a brief introductory video from us at the ColDesi family.
By the end of this training course, you should be able to:
- Unbox your printer.
- Set-up and install the Print Optimizer software.
- Navigate the Print Optimizer successfully.
- Create your first transfer using the Print Optimizer software.
- Press your transfer onto a t-shirt.
The Digital HeatFX system was designed to be easy to use and incredibly versatile. Your first steps to being successful with it start right here with this course.
“Proper training is the best preparation for success.”
Please don’t skip lessons, or ignore details because following the instructions WILL save you time and money. It’s exciting to know you can create your own custom shirts, etc. But trying to figure things out on your own can lead to lots of wasted paper, toner and t-shirts.

Check back periodically for new and improved lessons within your course.
As part of the On-Boarding process, your Customer Care Representative (CCR) will enroll you in the training course(s) you need access to. If you have not gotten in contact with your CCR yet, give them a call at 800-891-1094, and the will get you set-up for success.
